digital painting
the old bum concept... i scanned a pencil drawing i did, used all hard brushes and overlayed textures... i actually shot and lit my self for the photo reference. i altered my own face by adding older looking skin, a beard and dreadlocks during the painting process. date:2008

the progression of woman. This piece was done with a pressure sensitive brush. this piece in particular was a color experiment where i sampled color and then chose a slightly different hues of the color picked...date:2010

the hatter ape and hatter are original designs based off of Alice on wonderland done my way... the ape is a digital speed paint based off of an albino gorilla and some normal gorilla photo references.. the human hatter i wanted to be opposite of the original so i based his size off of a tall fat wrestler guy... date: 2009

the samurai is from a reference photo but i made up the face, redesigned robe, added some trinkets to the hat and gave him a little sake bottle... the figure of the woman was from a photo as well... date:2010
